Hello all -- The 17th annual Visual Resources Association (VRA) conference
will be in Los Angeles from February 9-13, 1999. A call for participation
has been posted on the web at:
http://www.oberlin.edu/~art/vra/99con.html
Please note that several of the roundtables and sessions being planned for
this conference are still looking for people to be panelists or speakers.
All the abstracts are available at the above URL. Contact the
organizers/moderators directly with a letter of interest for roundtables
or, for sessions, send a paper proposal (no more than one page in length).
The sooner you make a submission, the more likely you will be considered
for inclusion in the program. The submission deadline is SEPTEMBER 18TH.
Pre-registration packets will be prepared shortly after this date and will
be mailed to all VRA members by approximately the third week of October.
The preliminary schedule will be posted to VRA-L and several other
listservs around the same time.
Feel free to email me directly or call if you have a conference-related
question. If you are not a VRA member and would like to learn more about
our organization, please consult our web site:
http://www.oberlin.edu/~art/vra/member.html
Thank you.
