Design/Exhibitions Director
COSI Toledo

New hands-on science learning center in Toledo, OH seeking strong leader to
oversee the overall operations of the COSI Toledo exhibition, design and
building divisions.  Includes the scheduling and presentation of special
traveling exhibitions, the maintenance and operations of exhibitions, graphics
and the design and development of new Exhibition Learning Worlds.  There will
also be opportunities to work on grant development and meet with funders.

Qualifications include BS/BA in a technical, design or educational field;
minimum 3-5 years professional experience in related positions.  Highly team
oriented, strong technical aptitude, exemplary organizational techniques;
proven skills as a supervisor and motivational leader;  commitment to providing
powerful science learning experiences for all COSI visitors.  Positive
attitude, energetic, thrives on new project work and values the dynamic
atmosphere of a fast-paced, outcome-oriented institution.  Willing to consider
those with related non-museum or non-exhibit experience if combined with a
passion for creating inspiring science learning environments and the ability to
deliver successful exhibitions.
