Subject: exhibit team approach data
Hi All,
As you know, exhibits are increasingly being developed through a team
approach (curators, educators, exhibit designers, evaluators, etc.)
I'm looking for research or information or people to contact about the
study of exhibit team interactions (approaches, problems, issues) and
particularly the role of educators on these teams. I'm interested both in
the theory(s) underlying exhibit team formation and incorporation, and
research or actual documented experiences in exhibit teams (both positive
and negative.)
Thanks in advance! You can reply off-list if you wish:

Lots of innovative work has been done in your area at the Denver Art Museum.
Educators, curators, and other staff members have been working together to
develop temporary exhibitions and permanent exhibitions for the past decade.
During that time there's been considerable evolution in the roles of each team
member. Patty Williams, Dean of Education, has been instrumental in the
exhibition team process. You should definitely contact her!
