I've been asked to post the following message.
The Visitor Studies Association has reserved a large block of rooms at a
prime downtown Washington hotel for their conference. Unfortunately VSA
has not been able to fill this block, and as a result they could be
faced with a large cost.
However, the hotel has offered to count towards the VSA obligation any
reservations made at the hotel during the period from now through
September 7th. To get the VSA rate, you need to mention either AIR or
API. Contact Melissa Mackoul, Sales Manager, at 202-457-5008.
It's the ANA Hotel, located at 2401 M Street, NW (that's roughly
equidistant from the White House, Georgetown, and Dupont Circle). The
special rate for VSA is $105, which is super cheap for downtown DC.
