As for not posting the salary, keep in mind the possiblity that a salary
(up or down) might be negotiated upon interview whch could be to your
advantage. Also, many potential employers like to see your salary history
which can also be to your advantage, and to the employer's. The gov't.
jobs don't have that flexibility, so you take it or leave it as it is
