We would be very interested in people's ideas/advice on this topic as well.
Please post responses to the list (or perhaps Bronwyn could forward
responses to me?). We have two computers in our small (1000 sq. ft)
gallery; one has a CD ROM on mental illnesses and the brain (the topic of
the current exhibit), and the other provides access to the internet. Both
get used quite often, but the CD ROM can be distracting to other visitors
in such a small space. We also try to layer information in our labels,
which are generally much longer than the average museum label due to our
audience of health professionals and medical students. Thanks for your
suggestions everyone!
