Dear Bob: I agree that salary info need not be kept a big secret when
posting job announcements. Knowing the salary, or at least a range, would
save a lot of time and frustration for both parties. No one wants to waste
time applying for a position that is not a good match, and we can all agree
that salary is no small, or unimportant matter when applying for a
position. I mean, one can subsist on peanut butter and jelly for only so
long!
