PROJECT REGISTRAR/EXHIBITION COORDINATOR
For one of our clients in Washington, D.C., who is developing a new
exhibiton center, we are seeking immediately a project registrar/exhibition
coordinator to work approximately 20 hours per week for 26 weeks.
Responsibilities include: arrange for object loans; condition reporting;
develop checklists and installation instructions; coordinate transportation
arrangements, insurance and schedules; obtain copyrights and reproductions
of illustrations; edit/proofread exhibit text and labels; edit and oversee
production of catalogues and brochures.
You should have at least 3 years museum experience in a similar capacity,
excellent organizational and communication skills, and be detailed and
deadline oriented. Salary commensurate with experience.
