Textile Conservator: Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites seeks a
textile conservator with strong technical expertise to care for its
large costume and textile collections. Applicant must have a commitment
to the care of historical collections and expertise in the care and
treatment of textiles. Strong general knowledge about the care of
paintings, paper, objects, decorative arts, and furniture required.
Must be a graduate of recognized conservation program or have equivalent
experience as an apprentice in a recognized conservation laboratory.
Minimum two years of applied experience in textile conservation, under
supervision of a qualified conservator. Send resume to: Chief Curator
