So far as museum management is concerned at City University in the centre
of London we have a well established "mid-career" MA in Museum and Gallery
Management for those with some years' experience. Full details are on our
web site:

        http://www.city.ac.uk/artspol/

If you do not have significant work experience you will find that the
leading UK postgraduate museum studies programmes which take students
without work experience mostly have a management component in them, e.g.
University College, London, Leicester University etc. The UK Museums
Association introduced a compulsory Museum Management course and exam in
its part-time postgraduate museums diploma as long ago as 1964 - and this
was carried over into the first university course (Leicester, 1967).
