Apparently the Guatemalan government is being supported by the U.S.
Embassy and the U.S.I.A. (though we're not sure about the latter).
Claim is being resisted on legalistic grounds of "legal" importation
(as a condition of acceptance of the gift of a private party) and
import prior to U.S. ratification of treaty on illegal importation of
other nations' (excuse the expression) patrimony.
