Perhaps I should have offered Leah encouragement, as
has been suggested. Personally, I think it's worth it,
and am glad I do what I do. I'd like to be paid more,
but stay because I enjoy it. I was simply trying to be
honest: if you are going to be unhappy with a
(relatively) low salary, don't do it. If working in a
field you believe in, and doing things you enjoy, is
more important, then go for it.
