Dear Liz:
I have forwarded your inquiry concerning fireproof paint to Andy Wilson
who is in charge of fire protection activities at the Smithsonian - it
will probably be after the weekend before he responds - th 4th of July,
you know.
Although he probably cannot help you with your color concerns, he can
point you in the right direction as far as fireproof paint that does
what it is suppose to - fireproof. And if you do not already have some
literature from Crestline Industries, Inc., at (410) 654-9730, give
Steve Sass a call. They are one of our exhibitors at The International
Cultural Property Protection Exposition which is held in conjunction
with The National Conference on Cultural Property Protection sponsored
by the Smithsonian Institution each year - visit our Web Site for more
details - next year in Los Angeles, CA marks our 23rd year of training
activities.
Kind Regards
Roger Wulff
