FROM:Yasui R., Tokyo
Dear Colleagues,
Best wishes for another extra super New Year in the lunar calendar which is ab
out a week onwards from today! Those who live in the asian sectors of our glob
e, just watch out for noisy crackers and enjoy yourselves with great fun!
I wonder if somebody could kindly help me in compiling a list of museums relat
ed to inland waters: rivers, streams, lakes, marshes, ponds, which cover the s
ubjects of transportation, fishery, natural history and human life deeply tied
to the inland waters.
I have been able to get information of a couple of museums in "Museums of the
World 5th edition" (Saur Verlag, Munich 1995).
This work is for a new project I have been asked to do recently.
You may forward your generous advice to the Museum-L so that others who are in
terested in the subject may share the information.
From my experience using the Museum-L, I have been helped by many kind colleag
ues on this unique and super resource for many subjects and making efforts to
help others on other subjects as well.
I look forward to hearing good advices from you, soon.
Yours very truly,
Ryo
