There is aways Elvis Costello's "All This Useless Beauty"  from the recent
album of the same name.  In concert and interviews, Costello claims he was
inspired to write the song in an art museum.  He claims that the song is
about a woman comparing her late twentieth century husband to the Hellenic
perfection of antiquity around her on display.
