Something to think about:
I average 55 hours a week. Not a problem, I love my job. However, as a
salaried employee, I only get paid for the 40 hours a week my salary is based
on. If you total the hours per year you actually work, then divide your salary
by that number (basically coming up with your true "hourly" rate), and then
multiply that by the 40 hours you are actually paid for, you might find, like
I did, that you make ALOT less than you think. By this formula, I make a full
9K less than what I think I get paid.
Maybe those 19K jobs aren't as bad as I thought ;-) I-love-my-job-I-love-my-
