PUBLIC WING PROGRAM MANAGER
Program Manager leads Public Wing educational program with
educators, aquarists, bookstore staff, and volunteer corps;
prepares funding proposals, strategic, marketing, and operating
plans; manages operation and oversees maintenance/repair of
facility; conducts staff hiring, training and evaluation;
develops/monitors exhibit and interpretive program
effectiveness; plans/coordinates informal and formal
educational programming, plans/facilitates research on informal
science education. Required: Masters, 5-years experience as
education program leader and facility manager; proven ability
in leadership and communication; strength in marine
education-related discipline. Preferred: Ph.D; experience with
research proposal development; experience in dealing with
interagency planning and collaboration. 12-mo, full-time,
nontenure-track position located at Hatfield Marine Science
Center in Newport, OR. Salary is $45-55K, commensurate with
