The MIA seeks an administrator to design, plan and implement classes, workshops and other programs for the Young People's Program and the Family Center, and to develop and coordinate a volunteer program. Duties include: develop curriculum for children ages 4-16; hire and supervise art educators and classroom assistants; oversee registration and scholarships; oversee Family Center and supervise, train and schedule volunteers; prepare written summary reports and other documentation; develop promotional materials; develop and track budgets. Requirements: MA in art history, art education or the humanities or demonstrated equivalent experience; minimum 3 years experience with public audiences; familiarity with educational methods and teaching practices; computer proficiency.
