The Chicago Area Conservation Group (CACG), is fortunate to have been invited
to the McCrone Research Institute by Dr. Walter C. McCrone for a tour of his
facility on Thursday February 26, 1998.
Dr. McCrone has also prepared a special lecture entitled; "Faith vs. Science"
which will present an intriguing new developement that has surfaced in his
continuing research and involvement with the Shroud of Turin. He will also
discuss the merits of using polarized light microscopy in comparison with some
more modern techniques for analyzing materials.
The Institute will serve a pizza dinner with appropriate libation, but will
need a head count. If you would like to attend, call Lori at the Institute:

The evening will begin at 6:00 PM at the McCrone Research Institute located at
2820 South Michigan Ave., Chicago, Illinois.
