There's also another very well illustrated book, "The Well-Built
Elephant, and other roadside attractions: A Tribute to American
Eccentricity," by J. J. C. Andrews, Congdon & Weed, New York: 1984.
This has "The Big Duck", as well as "Lucy the Elephant" from Margate,
NJ, the now departed "Willy the Whale" from Niagara Falls, as well as
approximately 40 others.
