Hi Robert and all
I guess I didn't make it clear what I meant by "50". It was
not the absolute number of photographs - it is the number
of files of photographs that we have. We have well over
2,000 photographs and for a small county like Kewaunee
(population approximately 18,000) this is a lot of photos.
We do continue to obtain photographs, particularly so
lately with the publication of my book RURAL ROOTS and
its sequel IMAGES OF FAITH and several others that are
in the works. :)
The original discussion point still stands however. As I
was pointing out, much of our numbering system is
irrelevant, and confusing. It could have been better
thought out, particularly in light of transferring it to a
database (which has been done BTW). Keep it as simple
as possible by all means.
