Why have you chosen to go this route ? The bar code labels will fit
on larger items but for small ones you will always be at risk of
separating your object from its number. That may not be too much of a
problem for small collections but for larger ones it can create havoc.
What is wrong with the old-fashioned method of marking the item with
india ink and a sealer ? All but the smallest items can be marked
this way. I just don't see any advantage of the bar code over the
unique item number.
