Toyota has a opened an unique interactive exhibit where the visitor can try a
virtual reality experience of the ABS (Antilock Brake System) of an automobile
. A 150 inch 3 dimension color screen is set up in front of a Toyota's luxury
car 'Crown Majesta' , in which an ABS system is installed. The visitor can tr
y his or her driving skill to cope the ABS in various conditions such as a sli
ppy road on a raindy day or a smooth surface of a racing circuit. Mind you nor
mal pumping brake skills do not work on the exhibit just like on the real road
! Although the total length of the VR drive is only about 10 mintutes (maxium
speed 60 km per hour), the visitor can also experience a dreadful but harmless
shake of a car crash when making a careless driving mistake!
Worth to try when you are in Tokyo!
Address: Toyota Auto Salon Amlux. 3-3-5, Higashi-Ikebukuro, Toshima-ku, Tokyo.
 tel. 03-5391-5900 fax. 5391-5920.
