If your goal is to say everything about money, then sometimes you can
go through a goal analysis exercise (see Mager, Carl. 'Goal Analysis')
that will help you sift through your ideas to see what ones are
duplicates or related, what ones are trivial, important, missing, etc.
Planning teams often spend a lot of their time up front spinning their
wheels because they can't get their goals straight. Whoever charged
you with doing this exhibit normally would give you guidance on what
high-level goal the exhibit is to achieve (this doesn't always
happen). I realize that in a university course you don't have the
context of a museum mission, strategic plan, 5-year exhibit plan,
etc., so you can either fake one by imagining a client museum who the
exhibit is for, or you could go back to your prof and discuss this.
Otherwise, if you have nowhere in particular to go, you'll probably
get there. :-)
