Development Director

Exciting opportunity for exceptional individual to direct development
effort of a leading regional museum engaged in $12.5 million capital
campaign and expansion project ($7.5 million raised to date).
Responsibilities include building on the campaign and developing 21st
century fundraising strategies for this prestigious museum focusing on 4
centuries of American art and history.  Reporting to the Director/CEO, this
position leads a talented and evolving department responsible for all
development activity including support for $2 million annual operating
budget.  Candidate must have proven ability and practical knowledge in all
aspects of development with special expertise in major gifts.  Need
confident, outgoing personality who knows how to generate enthusiasm and
support from donors, volunteers, trustees and staff.  Energetic team player
who enjoys variety and can handle multiple tasks will be satisfied in this
environment.  10 years directly related professional experience required.
