An important RFP (Request for Proposals) has
been issued by the State Preservation Board
(SPB) for an Exhibit Design/Media Team to
perform complete exhibit/media development,
design, contract administration and related
services (except exhibit fabrication/installation)
for a new 165,000 sf new State History
Museum in Austin, Texas. The total cost for
these aspects of the overall museum project,
plus fabrication and installation, is estimated at
$20 million. Approx. 30,000 sf of long-term
interactive exhibits, 10,000 sf of temporary
exhibit space, a major multi-media theater
presentation, and an IMAX theater are part of
the preliminary concept.

fax number. The RFPs are due November 7th.
