What about mummifying one yourself - follow the Egyptian texts, etc. - I
believe a class near here did a frog mummy for their science fair
project - maybe a school would do one for you, or possibly public
programming?????? (invite the public to help with wrapping.....)
also, there's a commercial firm that has been documented on TV that
preserve family pets following the traditional ways - soaking in the
salts, etc., maybe try Discovery Channel films, Learning Channel, or A&E
- they were, however, not cheap.
