This is the second request this week from a class group wanting an
exhibition subject.  Same advice to this group.  Start with the stuff.  You
are doing an exhibition. not an essay.  Look carefully at money in all of
its forms.  Let the material suggest the theme and then see if you have the
appropriate examples to do an interesting exhibition.

In 1980 my students did an exhibition "Making Money: American Engraving
1776-1979" at the Downtown Branch of the Whitney Museum of American Art, a
few blocks from Wall Street.  It was a hit.
