Dear Christy Fasano at the Ulrich Museum:
In reference to your inquiry about writing a museum disaster plan, there is
an excellent book available through the Southeastern Museums Association
entitled Steal this Handbook! A Template for Creating a Museum's Emergency
Preparedness Plan, by Allyn Lord, Carolyn Reno, and Marie Demeroukas. 1995.

We at the Ulrich Museum are looking for examples or directives on writing
a
Museum Disaster Plan. We are a Mid-sized Mid-Western Art Museum located on
a university campus. We have a substatial outdoor sculpture collection as
well as indoor storage and exhibitions. If anybody can help with this,
point me in the right direction, or provide a sample, please feel free to
respond!
Thank you!
