If your board cannot raise the money for a feasibility study, it is
unlikely that you will be able to raise the funds required to develop a new
facility and move your museum. Having a study prepared by an outside
consultant will be an important tool for fundraising. If you do it
yourself, your prospective donors are likely to suspect that it is overly
optimistic. Raising the funds for the study will be your first step in
proving the project might be feasible.
