In my spare time, I am associated with an antique fire apparatus
museum that may have to move to a new location.

Can anyone on Museum-L give me any leads as to museums that have moved
their collections, their facilities, etc. to a new site? We are trying
to put facts and figures together for the Board and other interested
parties, but I haven't been able to find much information out about
     such an activity.

I do have the two technical leaflets by Larry Francell that were put
out by the Mountain-Plains Museums Association in 1996, but other
citations would be helpful, as well as the names of museums that have
     gone through this exercise.

     Many thanks.
