JOB OPENING: ASSOCIATE EDITOR AT AAM IN WASHINGTON, DC

The American Association of Museums has an opening for an experienced
editor. Duties include writing, editing and assigning articles for AAM's
national bimonthly magazine, Museum News, as well as editing and managing
book projects. Requirements are 5 years or more of professional
experience in a directly related field, such as journalism, publishing or
magazine production. Detailed understanding of the publishing process and
familiarity with the use of on-line technologies are important;
experience in or demonstrated knowledge of the museum profession is
essential. AAM welcomes candidates of diverse backgrounds. Starting
