I would like to put in a quick plug for Southeastern Arizona and Clifton. It is
good to see that they are concerned about preserving their cultural artifacts
and creating a space to keep, display, and interpret their artifacts.

I grew up in nearby Safford, AZ, and I would highly recommend the area to any
potential intern. The desert is always beautiful, and there is good high
elevation hiking and camping within an hour drive of Clifton. It has been more
than 20 years since I have lived in the area, but I do get to drive through
about once a year. The more things change, the more things stay the same.

Joel, best wishes to you and to the folks in Clifton in getting their museum in
order.
