GRADUATE INTERNSHIPS
Two internships are available for graduate students in either art history or
museum studies to assist with the exhibition *Paris 1900: The American
School at the Universal Exposition*, which will open at The Montclair Art
Museum in the fall of 1999 before traveling to three additional venues.
Interns will be involved with many aspects of exhibition preparation.
Primary responsibilities include conducting general research and procuring
articles, locating American paintings exhibited at the exposition, and
visiting collections with the guest curator to inspect paintings for
possible inclusion in the exhibition.
Position necessitates research at the New York Public Library and elsewhere.
Hours are flexible.
