The Albuquerque Museum owns two Trousset paintings, one a view of "Old
Town" and the other of "New Town," both 1885. I believe that the Museum of
New Mexico, History Division, Palace of the Governors, has one (contact
Registrar, Jon Freshour, (505)827-4007 to verify). The National Museum of
American Art has a view of Old Mesilla Plaza which was transferred to
them from the Bureau of American Ethnology. There is a Trousset coming up
at auction at Sotheby's this June (View of El Paso). We have a little
information on our paintings but not much research has been done on
Trousset. We would be happy to share any information we have with you.
