CONFERENCE ANNOUNCEMENT
IMAGING THE PAST: Electronic Imaging and Computer Graphics in Museums
and Archaeology
A conference to be held at The British Museum, London.
3-5 November 1994
FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT
Electronic imaging and computer-assisted graphics are increasingly
important in museum and archaeological work, in areas as diverse as:
- education
- gallery display
- scientific examination
- excavation and fieldwork
To provide a forum for workers in these fields to share experience
and expertise, the British Museum is hosting a conference, for which
indications of interest are now invited. Offers of papers are also
welcome although a formal Call for Papers will be issued later. It
is hoped to publish the conference proceedings.
Please send indication of interest or paper abstracts to:
Dr. Peter Main or Mr. Tony Higgins
