Grand Opening of Amateur Radio Exhibit and Permanent Radio Station at the
Museum of Science & Technology (MOST) in Syracuse, NY.
Operating under the W2CM callsign of the Liverpool Amateur Repeater Club,
this station will operate from MOST from 2100Z to 0200Z on Friday July25th,
and from 1500Z to 2200Z on Saturday July 26th. Amateurs who will be in the
Syracuse, NY vicinity on these dates and times are encouraged to visit the
Museum and observe the station and the special activities that will be
taking place. Operating frequencies will be 7.030, 14.030, 14.240, 21.350
and 28.325 MHz +/- QRM. A special QSL card will be sent to stations working
W2CM during this event. QSL requests should be sent to: Museum of Science &
Technology, 500 S. Franklin St., Syracuse, NY 13202. After the special
event concludes, amateurs should check with the museum to determine the
hours the exhibit will be open on any particular date. Event coordinator is
