EXHIBIT TECHNICIAN
Turtle Bay Museums and Arboretum on the River is seeking a full-time Exhibit
Technician to assist the Senior Curator of Art in the design and
installation of all exhibitions and exhibit-related projects at Turtle Bay.
Duties for this position will include the design and installation of the art
exhibition program (6-8 exhibits per year), the history gallery (1-2
exhibits per year) and the ongoing exhibit needs at the Cater House, the
Arboretum and Paul Bunyan's Forest Camp. Additional responsibilities include
exhibition, special events, and limited building maintenance. Benefits

Qualifications include:
Ability to interact effectively with the public and staff;
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Ability to organize and schedule exhibition installations;
Must demonstrate artistic and aesthetic sensitivity skills;
Ability to operate hand and power tools;
Computer knowledge/skills must include graphic design;
Bachelor's degree in Art, Design, Museum Studies or equivalent experience or
combination of education/experience preferred;
Prefer two years relevant experience in museum exhibition design,
fabrication and installation;
Possesion of CA driver's license or ability to acquire within ten days.
