Hello colleagues:

     A well-written, thought-provoking article has just been published in
     the March 1997 issue of Harper's Magazine, titled "Silence, Please" by
     Sally Tisdale.

     Although the article concerns libraries, the issues addressed could be
     applied to museums, their use by the public, and their administration.

     I'd be interested in reading what others on the list have to say about
     these issues.
