Gloria,
We suggest that you contact the Lineaus Athletic Company in Fort Davis,
Texas 79734 (no other address information required) 915/426-3475. The
proprietor, Lineaus Lenatti (sp?), is the most well-known medicine ball
manufacturer in the United States (well, in West Texas anyway) and has
wide ranging knowledge about the history of the medicine ball (and
radical politics--he's the only Communist in Jeff Davis County and sort
of balances the McLaren bunch--but that's another story). He has written
a book on the subject, but the publishing data does not immediately come
to hand. When you contact him, tell him 'hi.'
