Has anyone had any experience in having carpet reproduced for 20th century
historic houses? We have a piece of the original carpet (Wilton, wool)
and would like to get it reproduced. We also need carpet mat (made from
hair, if possible) to go under the carpet.
If anyone knows of any vendors who do this sort of work, please contact
Clare Arthur, Curator of Collections, NC Historic Sites. You can e-mail
her at [log in to unmask]
Thanks!
