Actually, if you feel you must leave the community, the proper command
is:
SIGNOFF museum-l
You can choose, however, to receive the day's messages as one long
e-mail message by sending the command
SET museum-l DIGEST
If you are going on vacation and want to suspend delivery temporarily,
you can send the command
SET museum-l NOMAIL
note:
YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE ANY MESSAGES FROM THE LIST UNTIL YOU SEND THE
COMMAND SET museum-l MAIL
ALL command messages should be sent to [log in to unmask]
and NOT to [log in to unmask]

I forgot how to do that, that's why I'm stuck reading all my messages.
And when I wait every other day it's really oy vey! I think all you
gotta do is type <Unsubscribe Museum-L>. Perhpas your name should also
be attached to the end of the command? Good luck.
