The Pacific Bell Museum and Archives in San Francisco is looking for
     someone capable of appraising a diverse collection of antique
     telephones. Our inclination is not to use a telephone collector, but
     to try to find a professional familiar with such collections.

     Any suggestions from fellow Bay Areans on finding a good appraiser
     would be much appreciated. Any thoughts from the List on using
     collectors (who may know the subject very well) vs. using professional
     appraisers (who may not have as thorough knowledge of telephones)
     would also be of interest to us.
