A few weeks ago an american student (Kim from Harvard University (?)) asked
me some information about the Musee de l'Homme, I was a bit slow to answer
and lost her address, I hope she is still signed on the list.

Here are a few addresses and phone numbers for the famous museum :

Action culturelle et pedagogique :
17 place du Trocadero et 11 Novembre
75016 Paris
tel : 00.33.(0)1.44.05.02.32

Laboratoire d'Anthropologie :
same address
tel : 00.33.(0)1.44.05.72.63

Laboratoire d'Ethnologie :
01 44 05 73 38
Laboratoire de Prehistoire :
01 44 05 72 95
Institut d'Ethnologie
01 44 05 73 45

Considering what you are telling me about classical art and 17th and 18th
century works I suppose you could try the Louvre museum which has collections
from Egyptian and Greek antiquities up to the 19th century. I suppose the
best would be to get in touch with an individual working there as a curator
or something but I personnally don't know anyone.
Louvre
Administration Generale
34 Quai Louvre
75001 Paris
tel 00 33 (0)1 40 20 50 50

I hope this will be helpful and ask me again if you need something else,
yours,
Juliette
