I, too, have been following this thread. If you don't like
the job as advertised, don't apply. The lack of
applications should make the point with the museum hiring.
Contrary to what recent posts have suggested, there ARE
museum positions which pay reasonable amounts of money and
provide good benefits. If your search's geographical or
specialty requirements are too limited, you may not find
what you're looking for, but lots of us have, do and can.
If someone told you that jobs would be handed out on
platters when you graduated, they lied and you were
gullible. Sorry.
