Museum Teacher
The Wagner Free Institute of Science, a National Historic Landmark
natural history museum and educational institution located in North
Philadelphia, is looking for a bright, dynamic and flexible part-time
(15-20 hours/week) teacher to assist in its popular educational programs
for children. Responsibilities include conducting hands-on lessons in the
natural sciences to visiting school and summer camp groups, interpreting
the Institute's vast collection of specimens, and working in the
Institute's extracurricular outreach programs. Qualified applicants will
have strong, demonstrated ablility to teach children of various ages and
backgrounds, with a special emphasis on (natural) science education.
