POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH POSITION IN SYSTEMATICS
                CALIFORNIA ACADEMY OF SCIENCES

Appropriate fields:  Anthropology, Aquatic Biology, Botany, Diatoms,
Entomology,  Geology,  Herpetology,  Ichthyology, Invertebrate Zoology,
Mammalogy, Ornithology, and Paleontology.

Must have received Ph.D. within last 5 years.

Stipend: $27,000,  plus  $1000  expenses.

Starting date flexible; normally a 1-year appointment.
