Although the suggestion of unionizing museum workers is a valid one, I have
a little bit of a problem with the concept: many of us are public
employees; some are already represented by a union or employee's organ-
ization, and these organizations are pretty much like toothless old dogs.
While we can organize to a certain extent, we have no bargaining power
and no ability to strike. Without that, the union or employee's organ-
ization is useless to us.
We are ripe to unionize. Are any of you out there management? What is
your response to the issue of low wages?
