Documentation Coordinator
The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum seeks a full time Documentation
Coordinator to be responsible for general planning, and development and
supervision of procedures for computerized art documentation projects and
terminology coordination. Demonstrated familiarity with thesauri, syntax
conventions, terminology control, documentation standards, art related
databases. Master's Degree in Museum Studies, Library Science, Art History
or related field. Knowledge of at least one foreign language. Minimum 3
year's professional experience in the field of documentation or terminology
control. Art museum registration experience preferred. Successful
candidate will work closely with registrars, curatorial, conservation and
other departments. Good oral and written communication skills, accuracy,
flexibility and excellent interpersonal skills important. Reports to Head
