Subject: Seeds of Change Garden web page
Howdy USWESTers-
It's almost web day, and we're putting the finishing touches on a web
site we're doing for the Smithsonian Institution called the 'Seeds of
Change Garden.' In a nutshell, it's a pseudo-curriculum which makes
suggestions and guides for teachers or parents to teach their children
about the effects of the Columbian Exchange through growing a garden that
contains samples of food crops from the Old World and the New World.
I thought this would be a site of interest to you-all. If you'd like to
check it out (remember we're still polishing the rough edges), point your
favorite browser (preferably Netscape 2.0 or higher) at:
http://horizon.nmsu.edu/garden/
Let us know what you think!
